Abstract1: This report describes one of the construction-phase research investigations based on the in-situ concrete frame building at Cardinton. The objective of the project was to re-engineer the business process of such buildings in order to reduce costs, increase speed and improve quality. The need, established through industry based studies, was addressed by a thorough re-appraisal of the supply chains and construction processes.
