Abstract1: The use of fibre reinforced polymers (FRPs) in construction is likely to expand rapidly as construction demands improved performance and cleaner processes. Twenty-seven case studies highlight actual performance in the field – both successes and failures. The case study reviews show that, where appropriately designed, polymer composite structures perform well.
