Abstract1: Describes work carried out to examine the spacing difference between park homes (mobile homes) and holiday caravans. Ignitability tests were conducted on samples of caravan material and two complete caravans were fire tested. Construction materials, combustible items kept near the caravans and fire screens were factors considered.
