Guidance on carrying out method statements, risk assessments, wind speed determination, and thorough examination is also detailed in order to assure safety. In order to accomplish safe lifting operations, recommendations for hiring a competent person for the job of crane supervisor, crane coordinator, crane operator, slinger, signaler, erector and maintenance personnel are included in this standard.
