Summary:
BS EN 60076-1 is in reference to three-phase and single-phase power and auto transformers. It gives information for transformer requirements in certain altitudes, heights above sea level, temperatures of ambient air, cooling mediums, wave shapes, installation environments and symmetries. Some information on requirements include details about transformers that have tapped winding, load loss and temperature loss. Some examples of requirements are rated power, rated voltage, and rated currents of windings. Information about tapping range and tapping voltage is discussed and is related to principal tapping and tapping factors. In regards to alternative technical procedures or solutions, this Standard recommends that an agreement be made between the manufacturer and purchaser.
