This Defect Action Sheet covers dual-pitched roofs: trussed rafters - specification of remedial gussets. Failures discussed include drawing of truss tension members from nail plate connectors; and sagging of roofs. Defects discussed include metal plate not correctly positioned during manufacture, of sufficient size; and trussed rafter overloaded.
